The art of painting is very ancient. In the past our ancestors would use colors extracted from plants and flowers to paint inside the caves. Then they used animal hide (skin) as the canvas to paint. Along with the surface the colors segment also found new developments. And oil colors came into being. With time painting saw various developments taking shape. As the world was busy appreciating the way painting has developed for the good, a young artist added a new revolutionizing dimension to this art form.

P.H. Row converged computer technology with painting. He painted on his desktop PC. The result of this unique combination was beautiful and heart-touching paintings, which can be named Digital Art.

P.H. Row is a self-taught artist, who after successfully trying his hand at soap, chalk, wood, stone and wax sculpting, is now into digital painting. This art involves painting on a computer and printing it on canvas. The final touches, like outlines and a little bit of coloring, are given done with the help of brush and paints, by hand. Some abstract and landscape hand paintings in acrylic and oil paints are also done.

Hailing from Narasaraopet, Guntur District Mr. Row came to Hyderabad way back 1990 in search of livelihood. The artist in him landed a job with a news daily as an illustrator. His illustrations slowly brought him fame.
